Eligibility Criteria for IRCON Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification (as on 01.01.2026):
- Graduate Apprentices: Graduate or equivalent in relevant Engineering/Technology streams (Civil/Electrical/S&T)
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Diploma or equivalent in relevant Engineering/Technology streams (Civil/Electrical/S&T)
Important Points:
- Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination in 2026, 2025, 2024, or on or after 01.01.2023 (should not have completed more than 3 years after passing)
- Result awaited/supplementary/back paper candidates need not apply
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in IRCON or any other organization need not apply.(latest govt jobs).
- Candidates with one year or more of training/job experience after completion of education are not eligible
Stipend for IRCON Apprentice Posts
- Graduate Apprentices : Rs. 10,000/- per month (Including DBT of Rs. 4,500/-)
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices : Rs. 8,500/- per month (Including DBT of Rs. 4,000/-)
Training Duration: One Year (No extension after completion of one year & company can give chance to extend your position)
Note: Completion of apprenticeship program does not guarantee employment with IRCON.

- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation (where seat is reserved for the category)
- OBC-NCL: 3 years relaxation (where seat is reserved for the category)

- Only one application per candidate per location for a particular post is allowed.

- For CGPA/OGPA conversion: Minimum 6 on 10-point scale will be considered as 60% (if university doesn't provide conversion).
- Candidates will have to make their own stay arrangements.
